Week of August 22nd

Oh my goodness, Fall will be here soon and then the long and dreaded Winter.  I could handle at least 3 more months of Summer.  The only thing I won't miss about Summer is all the food that has to be packed away for winter.  Gardens are exploding and my canner is working overtime.  If anyone is interested in canning recipes, leave a comment with what you may be looking for.  Last week I've done sweet relish, bread and butter pickles, green beans, tomatoes, freezer corn, and freezer squash.  I've got plenty more to do chicken and pinto beans are on the list again.  Now for  a menu...

Monday:  Leftovers, clean out the fridge

Tuesday:  Fajitas

Wednesday:  Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli

Thursday:  Mongolian Beef

Friday:  Chicken Quesadillas

Saturday:  Hamburgers

Sunday:  Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans

Link Up

I thought I should put up some of the links I've tried recently for new recipes

On the orange chicken don't go too heavy on the orange peel or the red chile flakes

I would cut the sour cream a bit and add some milk to thin the batter a little bit

I will post some others next week.

Week of August 8th

I know I missed last week but I was having too much fun in Denver.  Got to hang with my baby bro and B.  It was a whirlwind trip, and even though I'm tired, I feel renewed!  It's a good thing, time to get back on a schedule with school starting and my taxi duties needed.  What woman doesn't need ANOTHER job:)

Monday:  Tacos

Tuesday:  Mesquite Chicken, Pasta Salad

Wednesday:  Homemade Mac and Cheese

Thursday:  Salad Bar

Friday:  Pizza

Saturday:  Kabobs

Sunday:  Roast, Potatoes, Carrots and Rolls

Have a wonderful week!
