Oh my goodness, Fall will be here soon and then the long and dreaded Winter. I could handle at least 3 more months of Summer. The only thing I won't miss about Summer is all the food that has to be packed away for winter. Gardens are exploding and my canner is working overtime. If anyone is interested in canning recipes, leave a comment with what you may be looking for. Last week I've done sweet relish, bread and butter pickles, green beans, tomatoes, freezer corn, and freezer squash. I've got plenty more to do chicken and pinto beans are on the list again.
